DefendAPack® Launches KEEP A VEST UNDER YOUR DESK™ Campaign to Save Lives
As was witnessed in Virginia Beach this week, we have begun to understand just how vulnerable we are in many day-to-day situations.
Of special note in the Virginia Beach shooting this week. Survivors say one of the victims, Ryan Keith Cox, gave his life protecting seven co-workers. When we hear these facts we naturally wish he could have been DefendAPack protected.
We have recently launched our "KEEP A VEST UNDER YOUR DESK™" campaign to help avoid these situations. Our mission is to get teachers and people in the workplace to consider keeping one of our vests under their desks at all times. In an active shooter situation, you immediately put on your velcro attached vest and instantly become more protected. The vest can be put on in less than 10 seconds. It's easy to do and quite literally can save your life.
We wholeheartedly believe casualties surrounding workplace and teacher involved shootings could be dramatically reduced if not eliminated entirely. Prayers are not enough. Take control of your safety and the safety of those that you love.
